WORKING FOR RODNEY

I am committed to maintaining a strong voice in John Key's Government. My work in the electorate will be focussed on the National Party principles of careful economic management, growth and jobs, while protecting the vulnerable, providing more opportunities for all and offering security for families and communities.

I stand for:

	Strong leadership in tougher times; as provided by John Key's Government.
	Economic growth that supports new jobs and lifts incomes. We need practical decisions to keep borrowing under control. There's no place for rash, unaffordable promises.
	Infrastructure for growth. Better rail and roads will move our people and products while fast, reliable broadband will connect us with the global marketplace.
	Improving education standards. We need to get good information to parents, identify kids falling behind and help them catch up. I also support new skills training opportunities.
	Efficient, affordable, and reliable public services. I support prioritising frontline services where resources are needed most.
	Safer communities. I back law and order policies that put victims first and deal with serious repeat offenders. I support early intervention for young offenders and measures to win the drug war on 'P'.
